You don’t need a lap pillow. A hyppo’s lap will do.

Some how, someone read my post on how I hate being asked to book movie tickets. It’s very obvious than he ‘beh song’ being complained by me openly. We were waiting at this traffic light junction that suddenly Pirates of the
Caribbean popped into my mind. So I uttered that we can soon book the movie tickets as it is 1 of the 6 movies that GSC allows advanced purchase. The usual ‘chih dun’ or you may call it naïve (LOL!) me, didn’t expect him to use that post to get back on me.
TY : You go and book the ticket lah
Me : *thinking he was asking my favour as usual* Why must I book? Can’t you make the booking?
TY : You said in your blog, who wants to watch the movie, and then who books lah.
Me : *argghhhhhhhh, how dare he……* lei hou yeh! @#$%^&

What is so attractive about this Viva? I joked to younger bro that Viva isn’t a very “lou lei” word for a student. In our college, students who score a bit lower than the passing mark (if I not mistaken) are entitled for Viva. They need to attend an interview and this interview will determine whether they can pass that particular subject or not. Those score between 35 and 40 most likely to be in the Viva list. On the other hand, students who failed may wish to be listed in Viva as they have a 50% chance of passing the subject without re-sitting for the exam. Who would want to study the same thing all over again? Big bro and sis had been asking my opinion on this Viva. Honestly, it does look more beautiful than Myvi to me. But, it’s too pricey for a 1000cc. Or this 1000cc is actually more powerful than other 1000cc? Is it really fuel-saving? Any other good points? Nowadays, when one buys a car, what should come as the top priorities? Which criterias should be taken in to consideration prior to the others? 1. engine power? 2. fuel-saving? 3. price? 4. capacity? 5. outlook? I have no idea.

Those around me who have watched this movie are actually urging me to watch it as soon as possible. Some even advised to buy the movie tickets earlier to avoid disappointment. I remember watching its trailer in the cinema almost a year ago which really make me look forward to it. When everyone is so into this Spiderman 3, for some unknown reason, I don’t really feel like want to watch it now. I prefer to watch it when the Spiderman-3 fever is over. What a weirdo! I’m the type of person who would like to know the synopsis before watching the movie. The best for me is to know the ending as well, then only I will decide whether to watch that movie or not. Hahahaha! Yes, this is me. Not adventurous at all! I was actually bugging my friend to tell me the ending but he’s trying hard not to tell me. For him, it’s meaningless to watch a movie if I knew the ending in advance. To be frank, I don’t mind the less of excitement. At least I know what to expect. My bro actually persuaded me by saying that there will be a happy ending for Spiderman. *raise eyebrow*
After all, TY had bought the tickets. So we will be watching it this coming Saturday 3p.m.Actually, he had bugged me since last month to book the tickets but I just brushed it aside. I hate it whenever he asked me to book tickets. He is the one who want to watch a movie so much but always want me to make the booking. I know that it’s just a small matter but why me??? If you want me to accompany you to watch movie, make the move by booking the tickets yourself. I prefer having someone make arrangement for me instead of me making arrangement for others. I hate to pick the cinema, pick the date, pick the time and pick the seats as well. I have problem making decisions, you know!!! Ok, enough of ranting.

Muarians sure will know where to have free monkeys show. It’s actually not a park nor a garden, just a place near a hutan belukar( is it?) where you can see monkeys of all sizes roaming around. I think it’s just within a 5-minute drive from Tanjung(or Tanjong?). In the evening you can see people feeding the monkeys.

We headed south to Muar last Saturday noon. The traffic was good. No major jam except a few slow-downs. They were still upgrading the road. So sometimes you got 3 lanes, sometimes 2 lanes and sometimes 1 lane. It is very dangerous you know? The only unbearable thing was the hot sun. Padan muka! Why didn’t go back the night before???
So what did I do when I was confined in a little car? Snapped here snapped there lo.

My Dell Inspiron 630m is 1 year old. I bought it online with the 0% interest rate installment package. So, with my baby’s 1st anniversary, it marks the ending of the payment of debt. Balance due = 0. Yipee!! This baby is the first toy (that cost more than 1 thousand) that I bought using my own money. I’m glad that I could commit myself to faithfully pay the installment every month. I felt that it really needs some self-discipline to do so. I treat this as a preparation for myself in handling monthly installments before getting myself into huger loan. For the time being, I’m debt free. But this debt free status is only valid until next year. I had got myself into a larger debt 3 months ago but have yet to start on the installment. This time I need greater strength of will because apart from the monthly installment, I need to allocate some budget for the essential refurbishment. I’ll better keep my fingers crossed.

It’s not that I have plenty to invest but I do think that I shall do some small investments. I am clueless when it comes to investments. The only investment I tried is Fixed Deposit. For many out there who are good in investments might think that FD isn’t an investment afterall as the interest is super low. At 3.8% per annum (12 months). I have been an FD customer for almost 10 years. The money really grow at snail pace. But still it has the lowest risk. Yesterday, I saw in this advertisement in the local paper, The Star which might be suitable for me who hope to avoid taking risk. kiasi mah!
It’s the UOB Foreign Currency Fixed Deposit. I shall recommend this to Aaron as he always come to me to ask for investment ideas as if I have any of them.
